Printed Knitting Pattern 76 – Boys Kimono Style Cardigan

Printed and posted instructions for a cute boys kimono style cardigan with matching beanie hat, leggings and bootees.  It is an easy knit pattern, with rainbow-coloured garter stitch borders.

To knit this boy's cardigan set you will need to be able to knit, purl, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together, increase and pick up stitches.

You will need:-

15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 2.5-4lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn in colour A, 20g each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo & violet, 4 buttons, 1m ribbon for the bootees, 4 stitch holders,1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size

150g 4ply yarn in colour A, 20g each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo & violet, 4 buttons, 1m ribbon for the bootees, 4 stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size
