Manually emailed PDF instructions to knit a two-coloured, textured baby boy’s shirt-style bodysuit.ย This set is suitable for either a baby or reborn boy doll.ย It fastens at the front and crotch area with buttons and features a textured body and collar.ย There is a matching peaked cap as well as slippers.ย ย It can be knitted in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on the size you wish to knit. This set will fit either babies 2.5lb through to 0-3 months or 21-22 inch reborn, 19-20 inch reborn, 17-18 inch reborn or a 15-16″ reborn doll.
The materials you will need for this boy’s bodysuit knitting pattern are as follows:-
100g white acrylic 4ply, 50g 100% cotton 4ply and 9 buttons.ย You will also need 1 x pr 2.75mm needles to make a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g white acrylic 4ply, 50g 100% cotton 4ply and 9 buttons.ย You will also need 1 x pr 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g acrylic 4ply or dk yarn, 50g 100% cotton 4ply or dk and 9 buttons.ย You will also need 1 x pr 3.75mm needles for 4ply yarn or 3.25mm needles for dk yarn to make a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
150g acrylic dk, 100g 100% cotton dk and 9 buttons.ย You will also need 1 x pr 3.75mm needles to make a tension of 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
150g white acrylic dk, 100g blue 100% cotton dk and 9 buttons.ย You will also need 1 x pr 4mm needles to make a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
