Baby dress & jacket knitting pattern.

Manually emailed PDF instructions for you to knit a baby dress & jacket set.  This baby dress and jacket knitting pattern comprises a raglan, short-sleeved lacy dress.   There is also a raglan short-sleeved matinee jacket with matching bonnet and bootees. Both the dress and the bootees feature a frill which is knitted in as you go.  When completed, this set will fit babies from 2.5lb through to 3 months. It will also fit reborn dolls from 15 inches through to 22 inches.

The materials you will need for this set are as follows:-

15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 2.5-4lb Prem) Size 

100g of 4ply 100% cotton in colour A and 200g in colour B. You will also need 2 small buttons for shoes, 5 larger buttons, 1m ribbon and embellishments of your choice.  In addition, you will need 5 stitch holders and 1 x pr 2.75mm needles to make a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size

100g of 4ply 100% cotton in colour A and 200g in colour B. You will also need 2 small buttons for shoes, 5 larger buttons, 1m ribbon and embellishments of your choice.  In addition, you will need 5 stitch holders and 1 x pr 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size

100g of 4ply 100% cotton in colour A and 200g in colour B.  You will also need 2 small buttons for shoes, 5 larger buttons, 1m ribbon and embellishments of your choice.  In addition, you will need 5 stitch holders and 1 x pr 3.75mm needles or dk yarn and 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

20-21” or 50-52.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size

150g of DK 100% cotton in colour A and 200g in colour B.  You will also need 2 small buttons for shoes, 5 larger buttons, 1m ribbon and embellishments of your choice.  In addition, you will need 5 stitch holders and 1 x pr 3.75mm needles to make a tension of 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22” or 55cm Height (0-3 Months) Size

150g of DK 100% cotton in colour A and 200g in colour B.  You will also need 2 small buttons for shoes, 5 larger buttons, 1m ribbon and embellishments of your choice.  In addition, you will need 5 stitch holders and 1 x pr 4mm needles to make a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
