Although the headband and sandals are basic, the flowers and leaves are a little bit fiddly, but the result is well worth it. This set will fit either babies 2.5lb -0-3 months or 21-22 inch reborn, 19-20 inch reborn, 17-18 inch reborn or a 15-16″ reborn.

Headband and sandals knitting pattern.

Manually emailed PDF instructions for you to knit a basic headband and sandals with knitted flowers and leaves. This accessory set is knitted in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on which size you wish to make. Although the headband and sandals are basic, the flowers and leaves are a little bit fiddly, but the end result is well worth it.

This set will fit either premature babies from 2.5lb, newborn babies and 0-3 month babies, or 15-16 inch, 17-18 inch, 19-20 inch or 21-22 inch reborn dolls.

The materials you will need for this headband and sandals knitting pattern are as follows: –

50g of 4ply or double knitting yarn in main colour
10g contrast colour 1
10g contrast colour 2
10g contrast colour 3
10g contrast colour 4
a small length of contrast colour 5 for the French knots in the centre of the flowers.
You will also need 3mm needles for the flowers regardless of what size you are knitting.

To make the size of the set, you will need either 2.75mm, 3.25mm, 3.75mm or 4mm needles and 2 buttons.

Alternatively, you could knit the basic headband and sandals and add your own embellishments. Either way, you will have a pretty and practical accessory set for the special little one in your life.
