Please note that this set will only fit a reborn doll as its body length is shorter than a baby’s.  If you want to make this set for a baby, you can extend the body length to that required.  Just make sure that when adding extra rows within the main body, you end on the pattern row number stated in the pattern.  That way, the rest of the pattern can be followed as written. This will also eliminate any stitch pattern errors further on within the shaping.

The set comprises a lacy patterned body suit that buttons up underneath the crotch.  The neckline features an envelope neck style opening for ease of dressing. The reborn doll bodysuit knitting pattern is worded for contrast colour edging.  Alternatively, this set can also be worked in a single colour.  There is a choice of long or short sleeves and there is a matching bobble hat and booties.  

It is knitted in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on the size you wish to knit.  When knitted this set will fit a 21-22 inch reborn doll, a 19-20 inch reborn, a 17-18 inch reborn or a 15-16″ reborn doll.  

To make this reborn doll bodysuit you will need between 100-150g 4ply or double knitting yarn in main colour and 50g contrast colour.  You will also need either 2.75mm, 3.25, 3.75mm and 4mm needles, 3 stitch holders and 3 buttons.
