Description

Yoked cardigan & frilly skirt knitting pattern

Manually emailed PDF instructions for you to knit a yoked baby cardigan with a neck and cuff frill.  There is a matching 4-layered frilly skirt, beanie hat and frilly bootees.  The bootees and skirt both tie with ribbon, whilst the cardigan fastens with 3 buttons on the bodice. Sizes start from 3lb premature and go through to 9 months.  The sizes depend on what yarn thickness and needle size you use.

The frills on the cuffs and the neckband are knitted on.  The cardigan is yoked so there are only the sleeve seams and side seams to sew up. The frills of the skirt are knitted on.   That just leaves the side seams that need sewing. The bootees have sole and back seams to sew, and the beanie hat just has one seam.  This is one pattern that has more knitting than sewing with all those frills.

Our illustrated outfit has been knitted in bold colours.  If you want to knit this outfit in pastel colours, it will look pretty and girly.  Our photos do not do this yoked cardigan and frilly skirt knitting pattern justice.  As soon as we are able, we will update our gallery.  We want to be able to show you this little set at its full potential.
