Manually emailed instructions to knit a really lovely baby boy’s or reborn boy doll’s sailor set comprising of a double-breasted jacket, peaked cap, shorts and shoes. The anchor motifs are knitted from a chart. This set is knitted in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on the size you wish to knit. This set will fit either babies 2.5lb – 3 months or 21-22 inch reborn, 19-20 inch reborn, 17-18 inch reborn or 15-16″ reborn.
To make this sailor suit you need to be able to follow a chart, knit, purl, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together, increase and pick up stitches
To make this outfit you will need:-
15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 3-4lb Prem) Size
100g main colour 4ply, 100g contrast colour, 8 buttons and 1 x metre ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 2.75mm needles to make a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 4-6lb Prem) Size
100g main colour 4ply, 100g contrast colour, 8 buttons and 1 x metre ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 6-7lb Newborn) Size
100g main colour 4ply, 100g contrast colour, 8 buttons and 1 x metre ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 3.75mm needles or dk yarn and 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
20-21” or 50-52.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size
100g main colour dk, 100g contrast colour, 8 buttons and 1 x metre ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 3.75mm needles to make a tension of 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
22” or 55cm Height (0-3 Months) Size
100g main colour dk,100g contrast colour dk, 8 buttons and 1 x metre ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 4mm needles to makie a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
