Knitting Pattern Book 2 - Unisex Baby Layette

Manually emailed PDF instructions for this pattern book that consists of a unisex set for a cardigan, shorts, long trousers, beanie hat, bootees, envelope neck vest, all-in-one romper and a matinee jacket all together in one place.  There are nine sizes to choose from starting from 0lb right through to 3 months, or 10-24″ reborn dolls.  Some are knitted in 4ply yarn, whilst others are knitted in double knitting yarn, depending on what size you wish to knit.

To make this set you need to be able to knit, purl, slip stitches, knit 2 stitches together, increase, yarn forward and pick up stitches.

You will need:

10” or 25cm Height (Approx 1lb Prem) Size

200g 4ply in main colour A, 50g each 4ply yarn in contrast colour B & C,  18 buttons, 5 metres of 7mm ribbon, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

11” or 27.5cm Height (Approx 1-1.5lb Prem) Size

200g 4ply in main colour A, 50g each 4ply yarn in contrast colour B & C, 18 buttons, 5 metres of 7mm ribbon, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles or DK yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

12” or 30cm Height (Approx 1.5lb Prem) Size 

250g dk in main colour A, 50g each dk yarn in contrast colour B & C, 18 buttons, 5 metres of 7mm ribbon, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

14” or 35cm Height (Approx 2.5lb Prem) Size

300g 4ply in main colour A, 100g each 4ply yarn in contrast colour B & C, 18  buttons, 5 metres of 7mm ribbon, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size
