Instructions to knit a lovely little baggy bum romper, which is great for terry nappies if you prefer to use them rather than disposable nappies. This set is mostly knitted in stocking stitch which makes it ideal for any type of fashion yarn. The collar is optional. This set features a really cute baby beret, matching bootees and a short-sleeved, short-legged romper. The romper fastens halfway down the back and under the crotch as well, so nappy changes are made easier.
You will need:-
15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 2.5-4lb Prem) Size
200g 4ply yarn and 1.5 x m of 6mm ribbon for bootees. 11 buttons to fasten and embellishments of your choice. You will also need 3 stitch holders and 1 x pr 2.75mm needles to make a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size
200g 4ply yarn and 2 x m of 6mm ribbon for bootees. 11 buttons to fasten and embellishments of your choice. You will also need 3 stitch holders and 1 x pr 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size

250g dk yarn and 2 x m of 6mm ribbon for bootees. 11 buttons to fasten and embellishments of your choice. You will also need 3 stitch holders and 1 x pr 3.75mm needles to make a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
