PDF Knitting Book 3 Girls Layette Set

Manually emailed PDF knitting book with instructions for you to knit a girl’s layette set.  The set comprises a cardigan, dress with integrated nappy pants, bonnet, sandals, romper suit and a matinee jacket all together in one place. There are nine sizes to choose from, ranging from 0lb to 3 months, or 10-24″ reborn dolls.  Some are knitted in 4ply yarn, whilst others are knitted in double knitting yarn, depending on what size you wish to knit. 

To make this set you need to be able to knit, purl, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together, slip stitches, pass slipped stitches over and pick up stitches

You will need:

10” or 25cm Height (Approx 1lb Prem) Size

200g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 100g each dk yarn in contrast colour B & C, 13 buttons, 5.5 metres of 6mm ribbon, 4 stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.25mm circular and straight needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

11” or 27.5cm Height (Approx 1-1.5lb Prem) Size

250g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 100g each dk yarn in contrast colours B & C, 13 buttons, 5.5 metres of 6mm ribbon, 4 stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.75mm circular and straight needles or DK yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

12” or 30cm Height (Approx 1.5lb Prem) Size

250g dk yarn in main colour A, 100g each dk yarn in contrast colours B & C, 13 buttons, 6 metres of 6mm ribbon, 4 stitch holders,1 x pr 4mm circular and straight needles making a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

14” or 35cm Height (Approx 2.5lb Prem) Size

300g dk in main colour A, 100g each 4ply yarn in contrast colour B & C, 13 buttons, 6 metres of 6mm ribbon, 4 stitch holders, 1 x pr 4.5mm circular and straight needles making a tension of 20sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 2.5-4lb Prem) Size

300g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 100g each 4ply yarn in contrast colour B & C, 15 buttons, 7 metres of 7mm ribbon, 4 stitch holders, 1 x pr 2.75mm circular and straight needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size

350g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 100g each 4ply yarn in contrast colour B & C, 15 buttons, 7 metres of 7mm ribbon, 4 stitch holders,  1 x pr 3.25mm circular and straight needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size

20-21” or 50-52.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size

400g dk yarn in main colour A, 100g each dk yarn in contrast colour B & C, 15 buttons, 7 metres of 7mm ribbon, 4 stitch holders,1 x pr 3.75mm circular and straight needles making a tension of 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22-24” or 55-60cm Height (0-3 Months) Size
