Manually emailed instructions to knit a reborn doll or very premature baby lacy dress, bonnet and bootees.  This set can be made from our micro preemie dress knitting pattern in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on which size you want to make.  When knitted it will fit either a 10-14 inch height reborn collectable doll or approx 0lb – 2.5lb baby.  We think this outfit would suit a reborn doll better than a premature baby as a doll would be easier to dress.

To knit this outfit you will need the following:

10” or 25cm Height (Approx 1lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 4 x m ribbon, 3 buttons and embellishments of your choice.  In addition, you will need 3 x stitch holders and 1 x pr 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

11” or 27.5cm Height (Approx 1-1.5lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 4 x m ribbon, 3 buttons, and embellishments of your choice.  In addition, you will need 3 x stitch holders and  1 x pr 3.75mm needles.  Alternatively, use DK yarn and 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

12” or 30cm Height (Approx 1.5lb Prem) Size

100g dk yarn, 4 x m ribbon, 3 buttons and embellishments of your choice.  In addition, you will need 3 x stitch holders and 1 x pr 4mm needles to make a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

14” or 35cm Height (Approx 2.5lb Prem) Size

150g dk yarn, 4 x m ribbon, 3 buttons and embellishments of your choice.  In addition, you will need 3 x stitch holders and 1 x pr 4.5mm needles to make a tension of 20sts and 26 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
