PDF Textured Collared Cardigan Knitting Pattern

Manually emailed instructions to knit a baby or reborn doll’s textured cardigan with collar in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on which size you wish to make. The bottom half of the cardigan, collar and sleeve cuffs are worked in the textured pattern, whilst the rest of the cardigan is plain. This pattern caters for babies 2.5lb -0/3 months or 21-22 inch reborns, 19-20 inch reborns, 17-18 inch reborns or 15-16″ reborns.

To make this cardigan you will need to be able to knit, purl, knit through back of loop, purl 3 stitches together, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together and pick up stitches.

You will need:

15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 2.5-4lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” pr 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) size

100g 4ply yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles or dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

20-21” or 50-52.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size

100g dk yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22” or 55cm Height (0-3 Months) Size

100g dk yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
