Manually emailed instructions for a girl’s super cute but simple strappy vest set. The set comprises a vest with thin straps on the shoulders, but which fastens at the crotch with 3 buttons. There is a matching pair of turban-style sandals, as well as a headband, and is ideal for the warmer weather. You can make it in a range of sizes starting from newborn through to 6-9 months. This pattern is so versatile. It can be knitted in plain yarn or any variation of variegated self-patterning yarn. you could even add a lace or material skirt to it.
To knit this baby bodysuit you need to be able to knit, purl, increase, knit 2 stitches together, yarn forward, pick up stitches and cast on using the 2 needle method.
50g 4ply yarn in main colour, 50g in contrast colour, 3 buttons, embellishments, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
