A manually emailed PDF knitting pattern for a leafy lace baby cardigan with both round neck and V-neck options.
This baby cardigan knitting pattern features the same beautiful leafy lace stitch pattern used in pattern numbers 24 and 88, allowing matching bonnets, beanie hats, bootees and shoes to coordinate perfectly with this design. The cardigan can also be knitted as a standalone garment.
This customer-requested pattern includes both round neck and V-neck cardigan variations and is suitable for babies and reborn dolls from premature size through to 3–6 months.
The buttonholes are worked on both sides of the bands, making the cardigan completely unisex when knitted in neutral shades. Once the baby’s gender is known, the unused buttonholes can simply be sewn closed and the buttons added over the top.
The pattern includes instructions for knitting in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on the size selected.
This cardigan is ideal for premature babies, newborn babies and reborn dolls, making it perfect for baby gifts, hospital knitting, photography outfits and everyday wear.
