Manually emailed instructions to knit a classic newborn baby button-up bodysuit with a matching beanie hat and socks, all worked in a simple eyelet stitch pattern.
This single-size newborn knitting pattern is worked in double knitting (DK) yarn and is designed to fit a newborn baby. The button-up bodysuit is practical and easy to dress, while the coordinating hat and socks complete this traditional outfit beautifully.
Separate instructions are included for both a boy and a girl. The socks are knitted on straight needles and feature fully written heel-shaping instructions, making them ideal for knitters who prefer clear, step-by-step guidance.
This newborn bodysuit pattern was created following requests from knitters who loved the original premature version and wanted the same design in a larger size. The collection has since grown to include four separate size patterns, each with its own listing and clearly distinguished images.
This newborn bodysuit pattern is also included in Knitting Pattern Book 1, which contains all four original DK bodysuit patterns at a lower price than purchasing them individually.
