This unisex baby cardigan knitting pattern creates a practical hooded jacket with matching bootees suitable for babies and reborn dolls. The textured stitch pattern adds interest whilst remaining easy to knit and comfortable to wear.
Designed as a truly unisex baby knitting pattern, the buttonholes are worked on both sides of the front bands, allowing the outfit to be knitted before the baby's gender is known. Once revealed, simply sew up the unwanted buttonholes and attach the buttons to the preferred side.
This customer-requested design is the second of two matching patterns and includes sizes from premature through to 3–6 months.
The pattern includes instructions for knitting in either 4ply or DK yarn depending on the size selected.
