Manually emailed PDF knitting pattern to knit a traditional baby boy's sailor suit set for premature babies, newborn babies, 0–3 month babies and reborn dolls.
This baby sailor suit knitting pattern includes a double-breasted jacket, matching shorts, peaked cap and knitted shoes. Decorative anchor motifs are worked from a knitting chart, adding the distinctive nautical detail to the outfit.
Five sizes are included, fitting babies from approximately 3lb premature through to 0–3 months, or 15–22" reborn dolls. Depending on the size selected, the sailor suit is knitted in either 4-ply or double knitting (DK) yarn.
The combination of the double-breasted jacket, peaked cap and contrasting colours creates the traditional sailor-style appearance, while the matching shorts and shoes complete the four-piece outfit.
