Manually emailed instructions to knit a long sleeve top-down baby bolero with minimal sewing required.
This long sleeve baby bolero knitting pattern was designed following customer requests for a warmer version of our best-selling short sleeve bolero (Pattern 112). Several hospitals that receive hand-knitted baby clothing asked for a long sleeve option, making this design ideal for tiny babies needing extra warmth.
Worked from the neckline down, the bolero requires very little sewing and can be knitted in either one or two colours. Like the original version, it uses less than 50g of each colour or less than 100g of a single colour, making it another excellent stash-busting project for using up leftover yarn.
The pattern includes multiple sizes from premature babies through to 0–3 months and is suitable for both babies and reborn dolls.
A matching Child Top Down Bolero Knitting Pattern (1–7 years) is also available separately.
