The bodysuit features a pretty lacy leaf stitch pattern and a wavy, scalloped frill. It fastens as both the shoulder and the crotch area, making it easy to put on.
To knit this baby ballerina style bodysuit you will need to be able to knit, purl, slip stitches, pass slipped stitches over, knit 2 stitches together, knit 3 stitches together and pick up stitches.
100g 4ply yarn, 7 buttons, 1 metre of ribbon for the bootees, 2 x stitch holders, 2 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g 4ply yarn, 1 button, 1 metre of ribbon for the bootees, 2 x stitch holders, 2 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
150g 4ply yarn, 7 buttons, 1 metre of ribbon for the bootees, 2 x stitch holders, 2 x pr 3.75mm needles. OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
