Manually emailed PDF knitting pattern to knit a reborn doll front-fastening short dress set, including dress, bonnet, leggings and shoes, knitted in 4ply yarn.
When knitted, this set will fit a 10-inch reborn doll.
Our set has been knitted using James C Brett 4ply yarn, which we found gave a better fit on our Ashton Drake Emmy doll.
This reborn dress knitting pattern has also been knitted as written in standard DK yarn using 4mm needles, and when finished we found it fitted a 14″ reborn doll beautifully.
The short dress features a lacy stitch pattern on the skirt area and sleeves. The collar also features the same lacy stitch pattern, while the bodice is plain and fastens at the front with 3 buttons.
There is a matching bonnet worked in the same lace stitch pattern, which ties under the neck with a ribbon.
Both the dress and bonnet have been embellished with ribbon bows on our outfit, although you may add embellishments of your choice.
The pattern also includes instructions for close-fit leggings worked in a contrasting colour, making this an ideal pattern if you are looking to use up oddments of yarn.
Finally, there are instructions to knit a plain pair of slip-on shoes, which have also been embellished with ribbon bows on our finished set.
