Manually emailed instructions to knit a striped all-in-one romper suit with matching beanie hat, designed specifically for reborn dolls.
This unisex reborn doll onesie knitting pattern includes nine sizes to fit 10–22" reborn dolls. Depending on the size you wish to knit, the pattern is worked in either 4-ply or double knitting (DK) yarn.
Sometimes described as a onesie, romper suit or sleepsuit, the all-in-one outfit is mostly knitted in one piece up to the armholes, helping to reduce the amount of sewing up required.
The button and buttonhole bands are knitted separately where required, with the buttonhole positions given within the instructions. The front bands are joined together with the neckband so that the different sections align neatly when the garment is finished.
The pattern is written for three colours to create the striped design shown on our outfit. Alternatively, you could use self-patterning yarn or knit the set in a single colour and add embellishments of your choice.
Suitable for both boys' and girls' reborn dolls, the wide range of sizes makes this a versatile pattern for building a reborn doll wardrobe.
