Manually emailed instructions to knit a little poncho, tea bag hat and the cutest leg warmers by customer request. The poncho fastens at the front with 4 buttons, so that when it starts to get a little bit tighter getting over the growing baby’s head, just use the front fastening to put it on, and you can get even more wear out of it! This set features a lacy shell pattern. There is a matching pull-on teabag hat and leg warmers that fold down at the top.
To knit this baby poncho you will need to be able to knit, purl, wind yarn around needle, slip stitches, drop loops and knit 2 stitches together.
150g 4ply yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
200g 4ply yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
200g 4ply yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts of 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
250g DK yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
250g DK yarn, 4 buttons, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
