PDF Classic Baby Hooded Jacket Knitting Pattern.

Instructions for a reborn or baby Classic Hoodie in either 4ply or DK yarn.  Different looks can be achieved by using any of the self patterning yarns that are available on the market today. Instructions are in nine sizes, premature 1lb through to 0-3 months or 10-22 inch reborn.This pattern is suitable for a beginner with some experience of picking up stitches. You will need: 

To knit this outfit you will need to be able to knit, purl, yarn forward, slip stitches, knit two stitches together, pass slipped stitches over. 

You will need the following materials:

10” or 25cm Height (Approx 1lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

11” or 27.5cm Height (Approx 1-1.5lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles or DK yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

12” or 30cm Height (Approx 1.5lb Prem) Size

100g dk in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

14” or 35cm Height (Approx 2.5lb Prem) Size

100g dk in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 4.5mm needles making a tension of 20sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 2.5-4lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size

150g 4ply yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” pr 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) size

150g 4ply yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles or dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

20-21” or 50-52.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size

150g dk yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22” or 55cm Height (0-3 Months) Size 

150g dk yarn in main colour, 5 buttons, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
