Manually emailed instructions for a girl’s matinee set comprising of a matinee jacket, bonnet and bootees. You will need to be able to both KNIT AND CROCHET to complete this pattern. The areas shown in multi colours are crochet, whilst the plain steel grey colour areas are knitted. As I class myself as a beginner crocheter, this pattern is easier to do than it looks. The crochet areas are purely a mix of double crochet and trebles, whilst the knitted areas are worked in stocking stitch. However, you will need to be able to pick up knitted stitches to complete the whole set.
100g 4ply yarn in colour A, 100g in colour B and 100g in colour C. You will also need 3 buttons, 2m ribbon for bootees and bonnet and embellishments of your choice.
