Manually emailed instructions for a reborn or baby girl’s dungaree dress set in either 4ply or DK yarn, depending on which size you want to make. The set comprises a crew neck sweater that fastens at the back. The sleeves feature a lace pattern on the long sleeves and the top part of the sleeve is plain and is made as a double thickness. The dungaree dress fastens at the top and also at the sides. The dungaree dress features a lace pattern running above the hemline and it also has a large pocket at the front. There is also a lace-patterned bonnet and matching shoes.
To knit this dungaree set you need to be able to knit, purl, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together, increase, work through the back of loops, join 2 separate pieces of knitting together with a 3rd needle and pick up stitches.
100g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 50g contrast colour B, 12 buttons, 3 stitch holders, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 50g contrast colour B, 12 buttons, 3 stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
150g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 100g contrast colour B, 12 buttons, 3 stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles. OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
150g dk yarn in main colour A, 100g contrast colour B, 12 buttons, 3 stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
200g dk yarn in main colour A, 100g contrast colour B, 12 buttons, 3 stitch holders, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
