PDF Dungaree Style Bodysuit Knitting Pattern

Manually emailed instructions to knit a reborn or baby dungaree romper/bodysuit.  The set comprises a dungaree romper that fastens at the top, sides and underneath, and a pull-on sun visor.  The romper/bodysuit features an umbrella lace panel pattern up the front.  This is a really quick knit and easier than it looks to do.

To knit this baby dungaree bodysuit you need to be able to knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, purl 2 stitches together, work through the back of loop of stitches, increase, yarn forward and join 2 separate pieces of knitting together using a 3rd needle.

You will need:

15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 2.5-4lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 9 buttons, 2 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 9 buttons, 2 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 9 buttons, 2 x pr 3.75mm needles, or dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

20-21” or 50-52.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size

100g dk yarn, 9 buttons, 2 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22-24” or 55-60cm Height (0-3 Months) Size

100g dk yarn, 9 buttons, 2 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
