Manually emailed instructions to knit a reborn or baby girl’s frilly cardigan. The pattern is available in 9 sizes for either 4ply or DK yarn depending on which size you wish you knit. The cardigan is a round neck, raglan sleeve design with layers of frills within the raglan shaping of the sleeves. The cuffs and welts are made up of a single frill. When knitted, it will fit a 10″-22″ (25cm-55cm) height reborn doll or approx 1lb-0/3 month baby.
A larger size of this cardigan is available for 1-7 year olds. Child Size Frilly Sleeve Cardigan
To knit this frilly sleeve cardigan you need to be able to knit, purl, knit 3 stitches together, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together, join 2 pieces of separate knitting together with a 3rd needle and pick up stitches.
100g 4ply, 4 buttons and 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch. You will also need spare needles to hold frills.
100g 4ply, 4 buttons and1 x pr 3.75mm needles or dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch. You will also need spare needles to hold frills.
100g DK, 4 buttons and 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch. You will also need spare needles to hold frills.
100g DK, 4 buttons and 1 x pr 4.5mm needles making a tension of 20sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch. You will also need spare needles to hold frills.
