Manually emailed instructions to knit a reborn or baby Gingerbread Man outfit.
This fun little outfit comprises a textured button-up cardigan, trousers, a beanie hat with a face, mittens and booties. Sizes start from 2.5lb premature baby or 15-inch reborn doll and go through to 3 months or 22-inch reborn doll. You use either 4ply or dk yarn to achieve the size you wish to knit.
To knit this gingerbread man outfit you will need to be able to knit, purl, yarn forward, yarn over needle, pass stitches over, knit 2 stitches together and pick up stitches.
150g 4ply yarn in main colour, 50g in contrast colour (white), 9 x buttons (1 each in different colours for front of cardigan and trousers), 2 x white buttons for eyes on the hat, 1 x stitch holder, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
200g 4ply yarn in main colour, 50g in contrast colour (white), 9 x buttons (1 each in different colours for front of cardigan and trousers), 2 x white buttons for eyes on the hat, 1 x stitch holder, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
