Manually emailed instructions for an all-in-one romper suit with either a bonnet and Mary Jane shoes to match, or a brimmed beanie hat and tug boat style bootees. It comes in sizes 5lb to 6-9 months.
To knit this traditional style baby romper you need to be able to knit, purl, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together, slip stitches, pass slipped stitches over, pick up stitches and made ridges by picking up the loops of stitches from rows below.
200g 4ply yarn, 9 buttons, 2 metres of ribbon for the bootees, 5 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
200g 4ply yarn, 17 buttons, 2 metres of ribbon for the bootees, 5 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
250g 4ply yarn, 17 buttons, 2 metres of ribbon for the bootees, 5 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles. OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
