Manually emailed instructions to knit a lovely, quick and easy pattern for a unisex round neck cardigan with matching leggings, beanie hat and bootees. The cardigan, hat and bootees feature a ‘North Star’ pattern on them. There are no charts to follow, it is a fully written pattern and is ideal for using up some of those oddments for the stars, that you don’t quite know what to do with.
To knit this little trouser suit set, you will need to be able to knit, purl, slip stitches, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together, pick up stitches.
150g 4ply yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 6 buttons, 3m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
200g 4ply yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 6 buttons, 3m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
200g 4ply yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 6 buttons, 3m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1x pr 3.75mm needles. OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
250g dk yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 6 buttons, 3m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
250g dk yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 6 buttons, 3m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
300g dk yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 6 buttons, 3m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x pr 4.5mm needles making a tension of 20sts and 27 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
