This is a single-size knitting pattern for babies aged 0–3 months. The generously sized romper is knitted in chunky yarn and can be worn over baby's normal clothing as a festive dressing-up outfit.

To knit this snowman outfit, you will need:
150g Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake Chunky yarn for the romper, 100g contrasting DK yarn for the bobble hat and optional contrasting neckband, 60g black DK yarn for the mittens and bootees, 20g white DK yarn for the neckband if preferred, 5 white buttons, 3 large 35mm black shank buttons, 2 stitch holders, 1 pair 5.5mm needles for the chunky yarn, 1 pair 4mm needles and a row counter.
Chunky yarn: 14 stitches and 19 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch.
DK yarn: 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm on 4mm needles over stocking stitch.
If using a different brand of chunky yarn, use the needle size required to achieve the stated tension. You may also need more yarn than the pattern specifies.
