Printed and posted instructions to knit a really cute hooded jacket with matching bootees in a “Jack and Jill Frost” theme.
Our chunky knit, fur trimmed hooded jacket knitting pattern is also available in PDF format.
The jacket and bootees are knitted with chunky yarn, but cuffs, welts and borders are knitted with dk eyelash yarn. Due to the mix of yarn thicknesses, this pattern is only in 0-3-month size. It is also a generously sized set to allow for thicker clothes to be worn underneath.
To knit this winter-themed baby jacket, you will need to be able to knit, purl, slip stitches, knit through the back of loops, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together and pick up stitches.
100g dk eyelash yarn, 100g chunky yarn in main colour A (white), 100g in chunky yarn in contrast colour B, 4 buttons, 1 x stitch holder, 1 x pr 4mm needles for eyelash yarn making a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch, 1 x pr 6.5mm needles for chunky yarn making a tension of 14sts and 19 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
