Manually emailed instructions for a little girl’s lace panel cardigan embellished with lots of ribbon and ribbon roses. The cardigan features a contrast coloured edging which is also placed on the front button borders.
To knit this pretty baby cardigan you will need to be able to knit, purl, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together, slip stitches, pass slip stitches over and pick up stitches.
Optional Embellishments
Between 2.5 and 3m of 6mm ribbon, 16 ribbon roses for fronts and sleeves only.
100g 4ply yarn in main colour, 50g contrast colour, 6 buttons, 1 stitch holder, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g 4ply yarn in main colour, 50g contrast colour, 6 buttons, 1 stitch holder, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g 4ply yarn in main colour, 50g contrast colour, 6 buttons, 1 stitch holder, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles. OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g dk yarn in main colour, 50g contrast colour, 6 buttons, 1 stitch holder, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
