Manually emailed instructions to knit a pretty little smocked bonnet with matching shoes and featuring knitting in lace. Although this set has been knitted in winter colours, it would be suitable for any season in any colour.
To knit this bonnet and booties set you will need to be able to knit, purl, and smock (full instructions are given within the pattern). You will also need to be able to use knitting in lace, knit 2 stitches together, yarn forward and pick up stitches.
100g 4ply in main colour, 20g in contrast colour and 2 buttons. You will also need 6m of knitting in lace (252 holes), embellishments of your choice and ribbon to tie the bonnet. You will also require a cable needle and 1 x pr 2.75mm needles to make a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
