Manually emailed PDF knitting pattern to knit a textured hooded baby cardigan with matching bootees for premature babies, newborn babies, babies up to 3–6 months and reborn dolls.

This unisex baby cardigan knitting pattern creates a hooded cardigan with a matching pair of knitted bootees. The textured stitch pattern is worked throughout the design, adding detail to the cardigan while keeping the outfit suitable for either a baby boy or girl.

The cardigan has an unusual unisex fastening designed so that it can be knitted before the baby's gender is known. Buttonholes are worked on both front bands and, once you decide which side you would like the cardigan to fasten, the unwanted buttonholes can simply be sewn closed and the buttons attached to the opposite band.

Six sizes are included, fitting babies from approximately 2.5lb premature through to 3–6 months, with corresponding reborn doll sizes from 15–16" through to 24"+. Depending on the size selected, the pattern is worked in either 4-ply or double knitting (DK) yarn.
