Manually emailed instructions to knit a classic beanie hat and bootee set. This unisex design is suitable for sizes from 3lb to 3 months (15-22”) and can be knitted in 4ply or double knitting yarn. Perfect for beginners and ideal for babies or reborn dolls.
To knit this practical pattern you need to be able to knit, purl, yarn forward, knit 2 stitches together and pick up stitches.
100g 4ply yarn and 1 x metre ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 2.75mm needles to make a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g 4ply yarn and 1 x metre ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g 4ply yarn and 1 x metre ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 3.75mm needles or dk yarn and 3.25mm needles to make a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g dk yarn and 1 x metre ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 3.75mm needles to make a tension of 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
100g dk yarn and 1 x meter ribbon. You will also need 1 x pr 4mm needles to make a tension of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
